Style notes: Leisa Wharington
I first discovered the glorious glass work of artist Leisa Wharington years ago at a market on the Mornington Peninsula. I picked up one of her stunning glass vessels (see photos) in an apple green and I have enjoyed its presence on various shelves and mantle pieces at home ever since. Leisa is widely known as an artist working in glass on the Mornington Peninsula and many of her pieces have an etheral other-wordly feel - in gentle hues. Some of my favourites are the hanging vases she is known for. You can find her glasswork at the Somers General Store.
